Treasure Island

This is my book review on Treasure Island. It is one of the most well-known books of all time. It was written by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Treasure Island is a story about a boy named Jim Hawkins. Jims has no father, and he is taken care of by the owner of an inn, which is called, the Admiral Binbow Inn. He is summoned by a one legged man named Long John Silver to go on a mission to find a treasure that was buried by a fearsome pirate called Captain Flint.

On the ship Jim gets hungry and reaches into the apple barrel. He can’t reach, so he climbs into it. While he is in there Long John Silver comes into the room. He is talking with a few of the crewmates. He is talking about how he killed one of the crewmembers.

When they reach the island Long John Silver and his friends goes with Jim to check out the island but then they rebel against the people who are stuck on the ship. This was all planned out.

The people on the ship move to the island and both sides fight. Jim rebels against Long John Silver and joins the islands side. Read the book to see what happens.

I rate this book 9 out of 10. I think that the age recommendation is 10-13.
